Why you should NOT use a
mobile service
As mobile auto glass services seem to be increasingly more popular,
we stand firm by our decision not to offer mobile auto glass service. You simply
cannot do as good of a job replacing auto glass when it is done in an uncontrolled
environment. The weather and temperature play a major factor in the proper
installation of a windshield. Urethane is the adhesive that is used in most
windshield replacements and it does not setup properly when it is cold out (less that 40
degrees) or in rainy, snowy or windy conditions. By installing in our shop, we can
control the environment that your windshield is replaced in.
Another problem with mobile services is that you can have a
difficult time in receiving service after the sale. It may take weeks for a mobile
service to come back if you have a problem. We can take care of most problems within
24 hours.
Steps to take when you need auto glass service
- Call us or stop by. We can cover broken
windows with plastic until it can be repaired.
- Call your insurance company. If you have auto glass insurance
we can bill directly to your insurance company. We work with most
insurance companies to make you experience as worry free as possible.
- Make an appointment. Once we have confirmation, we can usually
get you in within 24 hours.
- Bring your car in on the day of the appointment. If you are
having your windshield repaired remember - proper setup procedures need to be adhered to
for the first 48 hours to protect your new windshield from leaking. We strongly
recommend leaving your vehicle for half a day or overnight to ensure proper setup.
- Pick up your vehicle and feel confident that the job was done right.
We hope that you never have a broken windshield or
